Highpoint Market 2023 Highlights

What a great Spring furniture market this was! High Point Furniture Market is the place for designers to connect, collaborate and get inspired by the latest design trends and new furnishings. Our Baxter Mill Archive team was happy to once again attend and be part of the designs displayed in many of the showrooms.

As design consultants at our BMA Design Center, our team is continually staying ahead of emerging trends in interior design, and the HPFM always equips us with more tools in our belts every time we attend. This year we saw style, material and color influence the trends at the Spring Market.

The top styles highlighted were reminiscent of the 1970s, with earth tones, relaxed curved shapes, and soft textiles.

We also saw 1960s-esque geometric prints on mid century shaped furnishing.

1920s Art Deco inspiration was highlighted with dark dramatic showrooms with gold accents.

BMA also had to highlight one of our favorite designers and showrooms. Aviva Stanoff is celebrating her 20 years in the business! Her one-of-a-kind  glistering fabrics, high sheen and textures throughout her showroom, fit right into the Art Deco decadent trend.

It was a bright, colorful market with many displays placing cobalt blues and greens in the forefront, accented by modern shapes.

Colorful prints and patterns were on display in many of the showrooms.

The nature trend is remaining in the forefront with displays of beautiful botanicals on accent chairs and wall art.
