About the Archive
Springs Creative
The Springs name has been associated with textile manufacturing since its first cotton mill opened in 1887. This archive features a diverse range of patterns and prints, from the iconic Home brands of Springsmaid and Wamsutta, small scale quilting prints from the Concord House Quilting brand, to retro florals and innovative designs from the Lowenstein Mills (one of the largest New York textile mills during the 19th and 20th centuries).
Within this collection, you will find iconic Americana-inspired conversationals, mid-century florals and geometrics, a plethora of stripes and yarn dyes, and a wide assortment of apparel prints. You will find an impressive arsenal of original hand-painted artwork and printed fabrics with holiday and novelty patterns for the craft/quilting, tabletop, and gift-wrapping business.
